This service requires a valid referral.
Patients must first register at the patient registration desk on the ground floor. After registration, please hand your referral (or your TAJ card in the case of electronic referrals) to the staff on the 3rd floor.
X-RAY EXAMINATIONS:
No appointments or special preparations are required.
ULTRASOUND EXAMINATIONS:
- Abdominal ultrasound: Requires fasting for at least 6 hours to ensure a completely empty stomach. A moderately full bladder is also necessary; therefore, it is recommended to drink approximately half a litre of still water 1–2 hours before the examination. Medications can be taken with this water.
- Other ultrasound examinations: No preparation is required.
Appointment times are indicative only, and delays may occur. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
MAMMOGRAPHY EXAMINATIONS:
Our institute provides telemammography services for District 6 residents or patients with a referral from a District 6 doctor (general practitioner or specialist), for patients aged 35 and older.
Breast ultrasound and male breast examinations are not available at our facility.
Should you wish to continue your breast examinations at another institution, we can provide you with images of your previous examinations on CD.
