Important information about the department

The orthopaedic clinic requires both a referral and an appointment. For every visit, patients must check in at the patient registration desk at the scheduled appointment time for electronic data entry.
Please ensure you arrive on time for your appointment, as late arrivals will require rescheduling. Acute cases are always prioritised, which may occasionally result in delays.

If musculoskeletal complaints arise after even minor trauma, they are considered trauma-related for up to 6–8 weeks. In such cases, patients should seek care at their designated surgical or trauma department, where no referral or appointment is required.

Appointment scheduling

Appointments can be scheduled in person, by phone, or online. Your attending physician can also request an appointment. We accept calls for appointments on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
To book an appointment by phone, call the following phone numbers: +36 1 351 7462, +36 1 580 2328.

Scope of activities

The department provides care for the full range of bone and joint diseases affecting the adult population. Our department focuses on conservative orthopaedic prevention and treatment with medication and aids, preparation for possible surgery and post-operative complementary treatments (e.g. physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise) to help maintain patients’ ability to work.
