Important information about the department
A referral is not required for dermatological examinations and treatments.
Appointments are necessary and can be scheduled by phone or at the patient registration desk.
A permanent or temporary address in District 6, or registration with a general practicioner in District 6 is required to access the service.
Urgent care is provided only in justified cases.
Telephone consultations and prescriptions are available solely for the continuation of an existing treatment.
Upon arrival, please check-in at the patient registration desk or use the barcode scanner.
Patients are called in based on appointments, though occasional waiting times may occur.
Scope of activities
- Examination and treatment of acute and chronic conditions affecting the skin, hair and nails.
- Epicutaneous skin tests (allergy testing) are performed following a preliminary dermatological assessment and only in justified cases, by appointment.
- Assessment of pigmented moles for melanoma through dermatoscopic examination.
- UVB311 light therapy is offered after an initial consultation for certain skin conditions (e.g., atopic eczema, psoriasis, specific forms of pruritus).
- Bioptron lamp treatment as a supplementary treatment for conditions such as acne, leg ulcers, and patchy hair loss.
- Treatment and care of sexually transmitted diseases (in symptomatic cases).
