Scope of activities
Rheumatology, physiotherapy, and therapeutic exercise form a unified approach to treating musculoskeletal disorders and post-accident rehabilitation.
We have a team of rheumatology specialists and assistants, six qualified physiotherapy assistants and four physiotherapists.
Our highly experienced and skilled staff use the latest scientific advancements to treat patients with great patience, and do their utmost to relieve musculoskeletal complaints and restore mobility as quickly and as perfectly as possible.
Conditions treated include arthritic joint and spinal complaints, inflammatory joint disorders, and we also place great emphasis on the prevention of osteoporosis and the treatment of osteoporosis once it has developed.
We maintain close collaborations with the specialised departments of the Országos Mozgásszervi Intézet (National Institute of Rheumatology and Physiotherapy) and the Irgalmasrendi Hospital in Buda. Advanced diagnostic imaging techniques are used when necessary to ensure accurate diagnoses. Our rheumatology department can also refer patients to day hospital care at spa therapy facilities. Physiotherapy and therapeutic exercise facilities include all necessary and sufficient equipment for effective treatment and rehabilitation.
